Appointment Deposit & Cancellation Policy

As of March 2023, Solis Auto Detailing will require deposits on all appointments in order to be scheduled in the calendar.

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. Unfortunately, over the last few weeks, we have seen a major increase in last minute cancellations.

Based on the total price of your services, appointment deposits will be $25, $50, or $100. This is a non-refundable deposit, once you pay the deposit you secure your spot with us, deposits are not refundable for cancellations. The only way to get your deposit back is if for any reason I can't get to you on your scheduled date, first we'll give you the option to reschedule, if that fails we will send you back your full deposit. We won't charge you a new deposit to reschedule the first time, if you contact us to reschedule at least 2 days before your scheduled date. If you already rescheduled once and would like to reschedule again we will require a new deposit to do so.

Is the deposit an extra fee?

No, the deposit will go towards your total price for services rendered. It is NOT an additional fee. For instance, if the total price is $400, and your deposit was $50, then at time of checkout, you’ll only pay $350 (don’t worry, we’ll keep track of it all).

Why do I have to place a deposit for my appointment? .

We’ve seen an increase in no-shows and last minute cancellations. This brings a lot of problems for a small business like ours. With a deposit, it lets us know you’re serious about working with us (and we appreciate that!).

What if there’s ugly weather?

Weather plays a big role on when and where we can work. If the weather is bad, we’ll just reschedule your appointment (no other deposit is needed).
