Remove The Paint Imperfections and Reveal The Gloss

Have you looked at your paint under the sun and saw a web of swirls scratches? These are called micro-scratches and that’s what hinders your car from shining.

How did they get there in the first place? The biggest culprit is usually improper washing and drying methods. Automatic car washes, using low-quality towels or wash mitts can all lead to abrading your paint and installing imperfections.

With our Paint Correction service, we can remove 50% to 90% of imperfections to reveal a great shine.

Unlike our Clay and Wax service that can be done in just a few hours, our Level 1 paint correction requires more time and energy to achieve the proper results, Usually taking 5-9 hours.

We have two different options when it comes to our paint correction service, we have our level 1 and our level 2 paint correction. The difference between the two is pretty simple, with our one step correction we usually use an all in one cream with a medium coarse pad to polish your paint in "ONE STEP". And with our two step correction we'll have to use a more aggressive pad to cut deeper into the swirls and scratches to be able to remove them, and then refine that with a soft pad to remove the last bit of defects, leaving your paint polished in "TWO STEPS".

Now a two step correction is usually our las resort when it comes to polishing paint because sometimes you don't need the extra cutting of the paint to achieve near perfect results, so we will always refer back to our Detailing Methodology and start with our least aggressive method possible.

And even though we perform a two-step paint correction, that sometimes might not be enough to remove some deeper scratches. In this case we can wet-sand the areas and polish over to completely remove deeper scratches. Now regardless of this, there may be times where a scratch is just too deep and beyond any polishing or sanding, it will either have to be touched up with a paint pen, sanded, and polished, or completely repainted.

Paint Correction FAQs

Do you offer ceramic coatings?

We sure do! This is a fantastic option to protect your paint from the weather. You can read more about our ceramic coatings here. Our paint correction already includes a 6-8 month sealant.

How long do the results last?

After the paint is corrected, the next phase is maintenance. It’s just like training your pet to sit on command. You don’t just teach them once and think they’ll know it forever.

You have to continually train and repeat the commands. It’s the same with paint correction. You have to properly (and routinely) wash and dry your vehicle moving forward to maintain the swirl-free finish of your paint. If not, you’re back to square one.

What tools and products do you use?

A wide arrange of machines, pads, polishes, compounds, cleaners, towels, and lights will be used to work on your car. Every car will be different and will yield different methods and tools.

What’s the difference between a wax and paint correction?

A wax does not remove any swirls or scratches from your paint. It only hides the very light swirls and can be completed in a few hours. Paint correction actually removes the swirls in your paint. This is what makes the paint shine like crazy. It also takes a substantial amount of time and energy to complete. Usually one or two full days (depending on size, condition, and desired results).
